Morning: The company’s vehicle and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in Hanoi and depart for Ban Lac, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh. On the way, you will stop at Thung Khe Pass for sightseeing and photo opportunities. 

Thung Khe Pass is the most beautiful pass in Hoa Binh and an ideal stopover with the characteristic scenery of the Northwest mountains. Enjoy the majestic mountains and forests of the Northwest and taste local specialties: bamboo rice, boiled corn, purple sugarcane, etc. 

Upon arrival in Ban Lac, you will have lunch in a traditional stilt house, enjoying specialties of Ban Lac, Mai Chau: wild vegetables, hill chicken, grilled native pork, and bamboo shoots. Afterward, you’ll have time to rest and check into your room.

Afternoon: The tour guide will take you to visit Mai Hich – the ancient land of Mung Hich. You will cycle along the tree-lined roads to Mai Hich. You are free to explore the nature and people here. Visit the 6 villages by bicycle and enjoy the countryside scenery in the villages such as Hich 2 Village – Hich 1, Xom Cum – Thong Cha Lang – Den Village – Ngoa Village – Hai Son Village… visit the stilt houses, vegetable gardens, fish ponds and experience the life of local people.

Evening: You will have dinner at a stilt house in Ban Lac, Mai Chau. After dinner, you can join in cultural exchange activities, watch Thai dances, participate in traditional bamboo dancing, enjoy rice wine, or organize a campfire and sing karaoke in the midst of the Northwest mountains. Overnight at the stilt house in Mai Chau.

Morning: you can wake up early to enjoy the fresh and peaceful atmosphere of early morning Mai Chau. Have breakfast in Mai Chau. After that, the guide will take you to visit the national scenic site of Hang Chieu, which requires climbing 1,200 stone steps to a height of 700 meters. When the sun rises, sunlight shines into the cave, making the stalactites sparkle uniquely.

11:30 AM: You will rest and have lunch at a restaurant, enjoying local specialties from Mai Chau. Then, you will check out of the stilt house, saying goodbye to the charming valley nestled among the majestic Northwest mountains, and return to Hanoi. On the way back, you can stop to rest and buy Mai Chau specialties or Ba Vi milk as gifts for family and friends.

5:30 PM: The vehicle will take you back to the pick-up point. The guide will say goodbye, thank you, and hope to see you again!
