Morning: The company’s car and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and depart for Ninh Binh. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, the tour guide will take you to visit Cuc Phuong National Park. On the way, the guide will introduce the scenic spots and historical-cultural values of Cuc Phuong National Park. Upon arrival in Cuc Phuong, visitors can enjoy the following attractions:

• Photographing butterflies: Capture images with swarms of butterflies at the entrance of Cuc Phuong National Park (the best time is from April to May each year).
• Rare Animal Museum: Visit the museum and the primate rescue center.
• Cuc Phuong Botanical Garden: Explore the garden, which collects and cultivates rare plant species within the national park.
• Ancient Stilt Cave: Travel deeper into the Cuc Phuong primary forest to visit the Ancient Stilt Cave, which houses archaeological remains from prehistoric times.
• Trekking: Embark on a trek to explore the thousand-year-old Chò tree.

Afternoon: You head to visit Hoa Lu Old Town. It draws inspiration from the culture of Dai Viet in the 10th century, vividly recreating the beauty of architecture, social life, and the unique customs of the Vietnamese people across generations. Here, you can visit traditional handicraft stalls from local villages and nearby areas, such as Ninh Van stone carving village, Bo Bat ceramics, Van Lam embroidery, Bo De paintings, Dong Ho paintings, and Yi Yen lacquerware. You can also enjoy specialty dishes like banh da, banh nep, banh mat, and banh khoai tep, all beautifully presented in an ancient style.

Morning: The tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel to depart for the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. The guide will recount the glorious history of the nation, including the over one thousand years of building and defending the country by our ancestors. You will visit the temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le. In addition, Hoa Lu’s terrain is in a semi-mountainous region, transitioning between the mountains and plains, so it features many caves and beautiful landscapes. Every year, Hoa Lu attracts numerous visitors.  

Then, you continue to visit Trang An Ecotourism Complex, a site of exceptional national importance. Here, you will surely be amazed by the system of caves, limestone mountains, and the diverse, lush ecosystem, alongside historical relics associated with the capital of the resilient Dai Co Viet state of the past.

12:15 PM: You will head to a restaurant featuring Ninh Binh’s specialties, such as goat meat and crispy rice. For vegetarian guests, if you inform the company in advance, the company will arrange vegetarian meals.

Afternoon: The next destination is Hang Mua (Dance Cave), often referred to as the “Miniature Great Wall.” Here, you can conquer nearly 400 stone steps to enjoy panoramic views of Tam Coc from above. This destination attracts hundreds of thousands of young visitors who come here frequently to take photos and check in.

Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a bicycle ride through the countryside to Thai Vi Temple. It is home of worship for the first Kings of the Tran Dynasty, learn about all of the Kings and Generals of bygone times. Here, tourists will have a chance to recall memories of a glorious reign in the nation’s history – the Tran Dynasty, admire special features of folklore and unique art in the style of temple architecture. 

Thai Vi Temple retains a unique architectural style, unlike other temples in Ninh Binh. The temple was built under the strong influence of the pagoda and temple architecture. The steeple was built in magnificent ironwood. The entire architecture of the temple is built of stone. Even the altars, worshiping items, and incense are made from monolithic greenstone.

Our next stop is Bich Dong Pagoda, the pagoda was built by two monks Tri Kien and Tri The in the early 18th century. It comprises three pagodas having the traditional architectural characteristics of wood and stone due to the style at that time when the Le Dynasty was coming to an end and the period of the Nguyen Dynasty began. 

They were named after their positions on Bich Dong Mountain. Ha Pagoda (Lower Pagoda) is situated at the foot of the mountain. Trung Pagoda (Middle Pagoda) is placed on the mountainside while Thuong Pagoda (Upper Pagoda) is located on the top. The uniqueness of Bich Dong Pagoda is the perfect combination of ancient pagodas with cross-covered roofs, natural caves majestic mountains, and so on, hidden in the green of tropical forests. All of them create the panoramic view of wonder called “Bich son bat canh”.

Afternoon: The next destination is Tam Coc, also known as the “Second Best Cave under Heaven.” Tam Coc is a system of three main caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. Over millions of years, weathering has created these unique caves. You will take a boat ride along the emerald Ngo Dong River, surrounded by majestic mountains and serene waters, making you feel as if you’ve entered a fairyland. Tam Coc is often called the “Inland Ha Long Bay.” It is a very famous destination for both domestic and international tourists.

5:00 PM: We will board the car and return to Hanoi.
