      Tour Program

08:00 You will be picked up by our tour guide and driver at your hotel to start a one-day tour exploring Hanoi capital and traditional villages. Firstly, you will visit Quang Phu Cau, a village famous for its traditional incense-making. This charming village, located about 30 kilometers from Hanoi, offers a unique glimpse into the ancient art of incense production. At Quang Phu Cau, you can learn about the incense production process, create your own incense sticks, and capture stunning photos with the vibrant “incense flower” displays. Imagine wearing a traditional Vietnamese conical hat while surrounded by the colorful beauty of Quang Phu Cau. We will head to Chuong Village, known for its traditional conical hat-making. Chuong Village in Hanoi is a renowned supplier of various types of traditional hats, such as the conical hats made with live stitching. This kind of hat is typically worn by elderly people when visiting temples, while conical hats are used by women working in the fields. The conical hat is a symbol of Vietnamese culture, and here, you can watch skilled artisans create these iconic hats using natural materials like palm leaves. Learn about the steps involved in producing the hats, from shaping the frame to weaving the leaves into a lightweight, durable design. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the experience of painting conical hats with a variety of unique designs and patterns for their own decoration. You will have lunch at the house of the local family of the village. This will surely be an unforgettable experience for visitors. In the afternoon,  you will transfer by car to the Van Phuc Silk Village, one of the most famous silk weaving villages in the North of Vietnam. This silk weaving village has been recognized as the “oldest silk weaving village that still remains active today” by the Vietnam Book of Records. At Van Phuc, visitors can admire handcrafted silk products, experience the process of making a piece of fabric, and purchase traditional handcrafted items as souvenirs.

You transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter and take part in a motorbike tour and enjoy street food. During the first part, we’ll show you the real Hanoi with day-to-day life experiences on the streets of Vietnam’s capital. Explore the maze of backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, markets, and black markets that are off the beaten path. You will have an authentic picture of Hanoi. On the way, we will stop by and visit (outside) the must-see places of Hanoi, such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the amazing Hanoi train street, the enchanting French Quarter, the hustling & bustling Old Quarter, the romantic lakes of Hoan Kiem and West lake & famous Long Bien bridge. We’ve got authentic, healthy, and organic food at the Hidden Gem Cafe where we savor the tastiest dishes of Hanoi. And if you’re vegan or vegetarian, don’t worry – our menu has ample options for everybody.

Concluding this tour, the tour guide and driver will take you back to the hotel, and bid farewell to guests.
